UPDATES
Here's a quick update on Elevate’s projects. We've made significant progress and are excited to share where things stand. Here’s a snapshot of a few of our key initiatives:
Completed Work
We are pleased to report that all roofing work has been successfully completed. Furthermore, paving work at the North entrance and Heron Run is now fully finished, and all guardhouses, Resident Services, The Commons and Plaza del Lago have undergone painting to enhance their aesthetic appeal. The Commons Clubhouse renovation is now completed.
Plaza del Lago
Plaza Del Lago Kitchen is undergoing a renovation that began in late 2023 with demolition of the kitchen and bar area. There was a change in plans based on the city's direction. This change was completed and the project is expected to be finished by early 2025. Plaza Del Lago will no longer be closing completely for renovations. We will begin a phased renovation in 2025.
Upcoming Projects:
Outdoor Tennis Restrooms- The outdoor restrooms at the tennis courts were originally part of The Commons construction. The board and project management team have been working on sourcing a new contractor to finish this project and get these areas open for resident use. We aim to have this open when the new courts are ready.

The Commons Pool Deck - The Commons Pool Deck is part of the project and was separately awarded to a contractor at the beginning of 2024. Now that the construction of the building is completed we will be scheduling this work to be done. The scope includes a new pool deck, a refinished pool, and a new water feature. Due to the extensive work required, this area will need to be closed during the renovations. To allow residents to enjoy the facilities over the holidays, we plan to begin work in early 2025.

The Café- The café renovation, which began in 2023, encountered delays due to contractor change orders and city requirements. We are actively seeking a new partnership to complete this area and remain committed to providing a café with poolside service for residents visiting Plaza Del Lago.

Tennis and Pickleball
Tennis Courts- The sitework and drainage projects are about 95% completed. We have partially reopened some of our existing tennis courts and plan to reopen additional courts by the end of November. The tennis contractor is working on the two new clay courts and one hard court. The new courts will take a few months to complete and are expected to open early next year. The tennis court construction area impacts the use of the playground, volleyball and basketball courts. These areas will remain closed until the area is safe to reopen.
Water Park
The Waterpark is nearing completion, with all features now installed. The vendor is finalizing mechanical connections and completing final inspections, and we’re excited to announce that this new amenity will be ready before the end of the year.
